2015 Year End Review

How was your 2015?  We hope it was a wonderful year for everyone!  Being Home on the James and living in Richmond has once again reminded us how wonderful this city is.  New trails are popping up, new events have taken shape, and we are excited to explore this outdoor playground further in 2016.

Did you get a chance to see the King of the James wrap up?  Thanks to Josh Brooks, Max Posner, Rich Prado, and Joey Parent, we were able to consolidate some video footage in order to put together a quick edit with some of the highlights from the event.  Check it out!

Congrats to Trevor Saylor for setting a course record and being crowned the King of the James for 2015!  Our reigning queen Jennie Belt once again defended her title in addition to Team Pup N’ Suds capping off the team category.  To read more about King of the James and see the official standings, check out RichmondOutside.com for more information.

Last but not least, the 8th Annual RETRO Day was a huge success.  Thanks for everybody who joined the festivities as we kickoff the paddling season on the James River.  There were a number of great edits in the show and we always love to see how far Richmond film making has come with the whitewater scene.  Here is one of our edit’s we submitted to RETRO!
