rva MORE begins work on ‘Buttermilk East’

Exciting things are taking place near the 22nd Street Tower in the James River Park System.  This past Saturday, January 10th, rva MORE broke ground on what will ultimately become ‘Buttermilk East’.  We were able to catch up with the crew briefly to learn more on the project as well as help produce this small edit (top of page) available on their website.

Buttermilk East is Richmond’s newest trail, one that will connect the 22nd Street Tower with the Flood Wall on Richmond’s southern bluff overlooking the James River.  This will provide an ‘off road’ route for those wanting to connect different sections of JRPS without having to use busy city roads like Riverside Drive.  Here are a couple shots of rva MORE‘s progress.
